Jacques Bermon Webster, II (born April 30, 1991), also known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper from America. He is also a songwriter, singer record producer, singer, and songwriter. His stage name is the name of his favorite uncle, paired with the first name of one of his idols, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label deal with Epic Records and a publishing deal with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint recording agreement with Epic Records and T.I. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic and T.I. Scott's first album, Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. A second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. The debut album of his studio, Rodeo (2015), was led by the hit track "Antidote". The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) hit number one on the Billboard 200. Scott's second album, called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was an album that was a collaboration with Quavo. It was titled Huncho Jack Huncho and featured his first Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released in the latter half of in 2019 by Cactus Jack Records. It was a top 10 hit on the Billboard 200. Following the single "Franchise" featuring Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it was a top hit on the Billboard 200. Scott was the first artist to reach first place on the Hot 100 with three songs within a mere one year.
