 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress actor, comedian, activist) is a comedian. After immigrating to America, she was born in Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her career began as an actress in her early years as a child. She is best known for her appearances on AT&T television commercials. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and then 2020 (since 2020 (from). Her commercial appearances were not her only activity she appeared in. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She was also an actor on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub has also voiced Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after being selected to play the character in the unaired television pilot of New Warriors. Vayntrub is a Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native, and also an American Jew. When she was two years old, she and her parents immigrated to the U.S. as refugees to escape antisemitism, settling in West Hollywood. Her family's financial difficulties resulted in her appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of 5. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. In her sophomore year she dropped out and earned a GED. She continued however to earn an undergraduate degree in Arts Communication degree from the University of California San Diego. She studied improv comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade
